The Court Interpreters Program with the Judicial Council strives to ensure access to the courts for persons with limited English proficiency or those who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. There are numerous avenues to work with the Judicial Branch of California, from volunteer opportunities to full-time positions. Here you’ll find all the information you need on how to join the largest court system in the nation.

The Judicial Fellowship Program is administered by the Center for California Studies at California State University, Sacramento (Sacramento State).  All persons with a four-year college degree are eligible to apply. Successful applicants demonstrate a commitment to public service and an interest in the administration of justice in the California court system.  Ten fellows are accepted into the ten-month program, which begins in September of each year.
